The Rundown:

Gang Green squared off with the Teal Seals, Green was lead by thier returning starter Mike Krumm who pitched well in his first outing of 2026 but was touched for 3 runs in a late charge by the seals. Krumm,Mike Mooney and Scott Gagliardi all collected 3 hits in 4-3 win. Josh Wagemann went 3-4 for the Teal.

 

The Galvanized Grey did Battle with Royals aka Quarter Pounder with Cheese (see Pulp Fiction) any problems with it can be takin up with Vincent Vega. The Grey jumped in front early with a 6 run inning in the first fueled by seven walks. Jeff Vilmer and Brett Fugel each had 2 hits. The Royals Rob Jackson only gave up three hits but control eluded the big Right hander for the second week this young season. Jay McCall was 1-1 with three HBP?

Target practice Anyone? I'd say Vilmer is in mid season form. Grey wins 7-5

 

Carolina Blues fought it out with the Navy Knights, Brendan Murphy jumped a mid 30s fastball and drilled it far over the wagon gate in left field for a lead off Home run. The Blues extended lead to 3-0 when Dan Lorentz took a breaking ball off the shoulder for a HBP RBI Lorentz seemed to have plenty of time to escape as the elder Fugel's pitch. As  much of the day his pitches were clocked by sun dial and not radar. However The Blues Big Bearded lefty Joe Altnether ran into difficulties in the third inning issuing a HBP and a pair of walks and four hits with Phil Stanger driving in the winning run. Dan Gilsinn led the Navy hitters with a 2-4 Performance but Brendan Murphy was the star of the game going 4-6 with the Homerun in a tough loss 4-3 Navy.
